Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Nursing Support/Patient Care Attendant to provide direct patient observation and assistance under RN supervision. The role focuses on safety, carrying out rounds, and ensuring timely response to call lights, while maintaining patient dignity and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, transporting patients, documenting care, and communicating any changes in patient status to the RN.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current within 3 months of hire.
• Completed hospital de-escalation training during orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and continuous observation of patient at arm's length.
• Participate in patient rounding as directed by RN.
• Ensure environmental safety for patient and respond to call lights.
• Restock department supplies and transport patients as needed.
• Clean and maintain patient equipment; complete documentation.
• Communicate changes in patient behavior to RN; follow safety policies.
