Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a Room Service Call Representative to accurately enter patient meal orders in CBORD, communicate with patients and staff, and ensure correct tray preparation and delivery.

Responsibilities include updating dietary orders, printing tickets and labels, and coordinating with dietitians and supervisors to meet patient needs. Prior CBORD and customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and percentages.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CBORD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, family, and staff to take meal requests and special info.
• Enters and updates meal selections and dietary orders in CBORD.
• Prints room service tickets, reports, and labels; ensures accuracy of trays.
• Works with dietitians and supervisors to resolve issues and ensure timely tray service.
