Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Basic PC skills and data entry experience are required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette are essential.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver clear instructions.
• Ability to coach, supervise, and evaluate staff performance.
• Experience with patient financial counseling or revenue cycle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for Financial Care Counselors (FCC) across hospital locations.
• Oversee daily registration and financial counseling activities for accuracy.
• Coach and provide feedback to FCCs in real time to improve performance.
• Monitor hospital work queues and identify trends for timely resolutions.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and training of FCCs and related staff.
• Uphold policy compliance and regulatory standards across revenue cycle functions.
• Collaborate with Service Access Manager to communicate expectations and drive teamwork.
