Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a patient relations liaison in Murray, UT to resolve complaints and improve patient satisfaction.

The role involves investigating issues, coordinating meetings with families, and documenting outcomes in the Event System. You will triage inquiries, answer phones, and follow up with patients and families, contributing to a fair resolution process and ongoing patient relations efforts.

Qualifications

• One year clinical/healthcare experience.
• AS 400 & Tandem knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable tracking software preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate situations to gather facts necessary for appropriate decision making.
• Assist in the scheduling and coordination of meetings which may include meetings with families.
• Receive incoming calls, resolve problems for patients or customers and complete necessary documentation in the Event System.
• Triage customer issues and resolve appropriately.
• Work to resolve complaints or problems in a manner fair to the hospital/facility and to the patient.
• Responsible for timely follow up with the patient/family.
• Answer phones and direct calls as needed.
• Assist with patient relations efforts including listening to and resolving patient complaints, and reporting feedback from patients to the appropriate department heads as appropriate.
