Qualifications

• Medical terminology knowledge and EMR experience preferred.
• Customer service/patient experience background preferred.
• General understanding of hospital and healthcare services.
• Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to provide conflict resolution and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between patient, family, staff and surgeons.
• Resolve complaints efficiently with support from Patient Representative/Manager as needed.
• Document complaints, resolutions, and feedback through formalized process.
• Alerts Patient Relations Manager of potential ethical issues.
• Supports the rights of each patient.
• Investigates and retrieves missing patient belongings.
• Assist with ADA needs.
