Responsibilities

• Schedule inpatient or outpatient procedures and coordinate admissions.
• Inform patients and offices of prep instructions and test requirements.
• Identify patients, match records, and facilitate hospital care.
• Input surgical procedures and orders accurately for the unit.
• Maintain medical records, stats, databases, and run reports as needed.
• Assist with unit coverage and orient new staff on scheduling.
