Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is hiring a Patient Registration - Customer Service Representative to help patients check into the hospital. You’ll collect information accurately, input data across systems, and provide compassionate support in a fast-paced environment.

No healthcare experience is required initially, but a high school diploma or GED and excellent customer service are essential. Vaccination, drug test, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients at check-in by collecting information accurately and addressing questions.
• Input patient data across multiple screens and programs during registration.
• Listen with empathy to ease anxiety and provide clear explanations.
• Be prepared to encounter ill patients and follow training accordingly.
