Formación

• Post secondary education or training in medical office administration or healthcare administration preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting including patient registration, medical office scheduling, or front desk/admissions required
• 0-2 years of experience in a customer service role preferred

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with patients and families to provide courteous, timely assistance.
• Schedules procedures, pre-registers patients, and manages demographic data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains required authorizations.
• Collects and records patient financial responsibility estimates.
• Communicates operative reports daily to physician offices.
• Maintains patient records and registration documentation.
• Collects co-pays/deductibles and informs patients of obligations.
• Applies confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately.
• Maintains attendance and complies with policies.
