Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Patient Registration Representative to serve as the first contact for patients, greet visitors, and collect essential demographics and financial information.

This role supports data entry, registration, insurance eligibility, and end-of-day balancing within CFHC’s patient flow model. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, medical office experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant healthcare experience.
• 1 year in a healthcare setting with data entry/medical records/receptionist preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
• Bilingual in English with Spanish or Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and process registrations per CFHC patient flow model.
• Know and apply EHR/IDCOP/Sliding Fee Scale/HIPAA/Joint Commission policies.
• Create new patient accounts and retrieve existing accounts in EMR systems.
• Proficiency in scheduling, registration, and billing applications.
• Gather patient demographics, financial and occupational information.
