Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office and with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registering and pre-registering patients to ensure smooth flow of care.
• Verifying patient identification, demographics, and insurance information.
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance at the point of service.
• Obtaining consent for medical treatment as needed and ensuring compliance.
• Accurate data entry and scanning of documents (IDs, insurance cards, directives).
• Using systems including the Patient Registration System and EMR.
