Job summary

University Otolaryngologists is seeking a friendly Patient Registration Specialist for our Neuro-Ophthalmology practice at the Bethel Road office. You will be the first contact, greet patients, register them, collect payments and verify insurance, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday with competitive pay and benefits. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, EHR use, and teamwork in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with EHRs.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet all customers.
• Register all patients (may be for both Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions).
• Update all patient demographics each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
• Verify referrals are in place for patients.
