Job summary

Ohio ENT in Columbus, OH is seeking a Patient Registration Specialist to be the first point of contact for our Neuro-Ophthalmology clinic at Bethel Road. You will greet patients, register them, verify demographics, schedule appointments, and collect payments while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, proficiency with basic computer tasks and EHR systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers professionally.
• Register all patients (Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions).
• Update patient demographics at each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items.
• Verify referrals are in place for patients.
