Job summary

Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians is seeking a friendly Patient Registration Specialist - Float to serve as the first point of contact at our clinics. You will greet patients, register them, collect payments, and verify insurance eligibility to ensure a smooth visit.

This float role covers multiple office locations, with typical Monday–Friday hours and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required, along with familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items.
• Verify referrals are in place for patients.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist - Float to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience. You will be required to greet customers, register patients, and collect payments. In addition, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and answering incoming calls.

Float Office Locations: Delaware, Dublin, Bethel Rd., Westerville, East Broad, & Grove City

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred

Work hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30pm p.m. Occasional overtime and travel will be required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
