Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in patient admitting, registration and/or insurance eligibility verification preferred.
• EPIC training/experience preferred; insurance payor systems experience preferred.
• ICD-10 terminology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors over the telephone, in person and in writing.
• Willingness to instruct others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with warmth at the front desk, handling face-to-face check-ins, preregistration, and phone interactions.
• Register patients and manage insurance verification, eligibility checks, and cash collections with accuracy.
• Provide outstanding customer service and advocate for patients to ensure their needs are met.
• Anticipate patient needs to foster loyalty and positive experiences.
