Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist) to be the first point of contact for patients and their families. You will verify patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system, while scheduling appointments and greeting patients professionally.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred, and at least two years in a similar healthcare role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree Preferred
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify all required patient and insurance information and enter the information into the registration system in an accurate manner.
• Schedule patient appointments which may include return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures.
• Greet patients professionally in person and over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.
• Set the tone for the visit and ensure a positive, welcoming experience for every patient.
