Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team. The role involves greeting, registering and admitting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance verification and copays in a healthcare setting.

The position emphasizes early morning hours and customer service as part of a united care team focused on recovery for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as receptionist or cashier or related role.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Ability to greet, register and admit patients in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-registration for new clients.
• Schedule appointments and orient new patients.
• Monitor patient activities on center premises.
• Provide customer service as the point of contact for inquiries.
• Collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility at time of service.
• Enter all demographics, billing and clinical information accurately.
• Maintain communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff regarding intakes.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Perform general administrative tasks (answering phones, mail, inventory).
