Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of receptionist/cashier or related healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of electronic health records systems and medical insurance.
• Strong communication and basic computer literacy are essential.
• Ability to read, write and understand complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-registration for new clients and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-pays and patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
• Ensure demographics, billing, and clinical information are accurately entered in the system.
• Maintain communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff regarding intakes.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as needed.
• Perform general administrative tasks: phones, mail, supplies, and receipts.
