Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to greet, register, and admit patients in our clinic. You will schedule appointments, handle pre-registration, and collect co-payments while ensuring accurate demographic and billing data.

The role requires at least 1 year of receptionist/cashier and healthcare experience, with strong customer service and familiarity with electronic health records. It is a non-exempt, on-site position reporting to the Program Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year receptionist and cashier or related experience.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Strong customer service background; knowledge of EHR systems and medical insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and admit patients in the healthcare facility.
• Complete pre-registration and schedule patient appointments, including orientations.
• Collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility; ensure data in registration system is accurate.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary; maintain communication with clinic staff.
• Perform administrative tasks: answering phones, mail, supplies; maintain confidentiality and support clinic operations.
