• May complete managed care responsibilities for pre-certification and authorizations.
• Prepare consent forms and notices for privacy practices and obtain electronic signatures.
• Collect deposits, co-pays, deductibles, and patient liability payments; issue receipts.
• Prepare armbands for patient identification and balance daily receipts.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patients per hospital workflows.
• Check for order completeness and validate orders against scheduled services.
