Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, CO is seeking a Patient Registrar to provide friendly, efficient registration support. You will greet patients, check in, manage the front desk, and route calls, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is captured.

The role collaborates with clinics including women's health, behavioral health, ENT, dermatology, and more. Prior clinic experience is helpful; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Commitment, reliability, or work ethic demonstrated through courses or work experience.
• Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve the community (not required).
• Clinic experience is helpful but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, greet and check in, manage switchboard and reception.
• Answer, transfer calls, announce pages and alerts as needed.
• Record admissions for outpatient and ED visits by interviewing patients and entering data into the EMR.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and ensure accurate medical records.
• Review coverage and determine payer source for services.
