Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado, seeks a friendly Receptionist for the Diagnostic Imaging department. This full-time, Monday–Friday role supports patient flow, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

You’ll welcome patients, answer calls, register imaging exams, manage reports, and provide courteous service in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and navigate computer-based applications and healthcare systems.
• Spanish-language skills are preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; an associate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in person and by phone, providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Answer a multi-line telephone system, relay messages, and schedule or reschedule patient appointments.
• Register patients for Diagnostic Imaging exams and provide accurate preparation instructions.
• Process and distribute reports to the appropriate destinations and maintain patient forms and records.
• Perform general clerical and secretarial duties, including ordering office supplies and supporting the daily operations of the department.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
