Responsibilities

• Explain policies on services, charges, and insurance billing.
• Assist in collecting payments per policy and update systems accordingly.
• Obtain insurance pre-certifications or authorizations and record in patient charts.
• Process patient charts following workflow and productivity standards.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to address emergencies and questions.
• Prepare daily deposits and maintain cash drawer integrity.
• Generate and distribute paperwork to relevant departments and offices.
• Route admission documents to appropriate teams.
