Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Nine months of work experience in office, healthcare or customer service.
• Must pass EPIC competency for Registration at completion of Epic Clerical Training class.
• Pass annual competency exam for all areas of responsibility.
• Attend Quarterly MSO meetings.
• Attend Staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and ensure accurate data capture during encounters.
• Explain documents requiring patient signatures and e-signature processes.
• Collect co-payments, deductible amounts and financial obligations at service time.
• Refer uninsured patients to the Financial Advocacy Center or on-site Financial Advocate.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and inform patients of delays; respond to inquiries.
• Follow PMG cash handling policies and balance daily.
