Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• A minimum of nine (9) months of work experiences in office, healthcare or customer service environment is required.
• Must pass EPIC competency for Registration at completion of Epic Clerical Training class.

Responsibilities

• Performs the patient registration process.
• Collects identified patient data and explains documents requiring signatures.
• Investigate insurance eligibility via electronic tools and communicate with patients.
• Explain and collect payments including copays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Refer as appropriate to Financial Advocate for uninsured patients.
• Maintain lobby areas and respond to delays or concerns.
