Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing patient referrals.
• Verify insurance type and required authorizations.
• Contact referring physicians to obtain referrals.
• Obtain any additional documents as needed.
• Record referrals in the computer and ensure new patient charts are complete.
• Update co-payments in the system.
• Mail new patient packets and assist with front desk duties.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
