Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma and 1 year (2 years preferred) in a medical office setting.
• Must have two years experience working with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers referral orders in an electronic health record system (EHRS).
• Enter data into an electronic health record system (EHRS).
• Track referrals to JSH/IRIS or other institutions/systems.
• Contact participants and case managers via telephone or direct mailings.
• Create reports that describe referral outcomes.
• Maintains independent decision-making in patient referrals with multiple providers.
• Assists referrals to onsite and offsite providers and programs.
• Helps participants acquire public aid, medical cards, and All Kids insurance.
