Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing referrals and processing referrals according to guidelines.
• Obtaining prior authorization as needed by health plans.
• Scheduling appointments with specialists per provider requests.
• Verifying patient insurance coverage for referrals and obtaining pre-authorization when required.
• Entering referral data accurately into the electronic system and maintaining records.
