Job summary

Heluna Health is seeking a patient access assistant to welcome patients at clinic and hospital sites, guide enrollment in the LA Health Patient Portal, and provide technical support for portal use. You will demonstrate strong customer service, assist with interpretation needs, and log interactions for enrollment goals.

The role calls for comfort with technology, ability to work in a fast-paced team, and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in person at clinics and hospitals with high customer service.
• Determine when language interpretation is needed and arrange interpreter services.
• Educate patients on enrolling in the Patient Portal and use its features.
• Provide technical assistance for Patient Portal issues.
• Record and log patient interactions; update logs daily.
• Help enroll 45+ patients per full work week.
• Teach staff about Portal processes and features.
• Navigate patients to other care teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
