Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year of college preferred.
• Minimum one year working with pediatric patients preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a medical front office or hospital call center that schedules for multiple clinics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient access from diagnosis or referral.
• Gather demographic, employment, and insurance data for registration.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Review medical information for first appointment with physician.
• Act as liaison between patients, families, clinics, PCPs and support services.
• Request authorization for services as ordered by providers.
• Assist patients in clinic environment.
• Perform other duties as needed.
