Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin is hiring for a full-time Patient Observation Lead. The role oversees the Patient Observation Associates and assists the department managers in running the program to ensure safe, timely, and accurate monitoring of patients who cannot be left unattended.

You will coordinate assignments, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work of other Patient Observation Associates.
• Coordinates associate assignments and staffing with client personnel as appropriate.
• Performs and ensures shift reports, break sheets, and patient assignments to ensure coverage.
• Cross-trained in Patient Transport and/or other departments when applicable.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures to improve standardization and processes.
