Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Healthcare, seeks a Patient Observation Lead to supervise daily operations and ensure safe, timely patient observation. This role leads a team, coordinates staffing, and interfaces with hospital leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and compliance.

The position offers full-time and part-time schedules with rotating shifts and requires prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience required.
• Ability to supervise Patient Observation Associates.
• Strong communication and coordination with teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work of Patient Observation Associates.
• Communicates with associates, staffing resources, client staff, and leadership as appropriate.
• Coordinates associate assignments and client liaison as needed.
• Performs float break coverage to support offsite accounts.
• Ensures compliance and standardization of policies and procedures.
• Completes shift reports and patient assignments to ensure coverage.
• Cross-trained in Patient Transport and other departments as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
