Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a Patient Observation Lead at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The role supervises Patient Observation Associates, ensuring safe, timely and accurate patient observation while supporting department operations and patient care standards.

The position requires prior management experience and offers a fixed pay rate of $18.50 per hour, with full-time and part-time schedules including day and evening shifts and a 2nd shift

Qualifications

• Previous management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work of other Patient Observation Associates.
• Communicates with associates, resources staffing, client staff and leadership, as appropriate.
• Coordinates associate assignments with client personnel.
• Ensures float break coverage to support offsite accounts.
• Communicates policies and procedures to ensure compliance and process improvements.
• Completes shift reports, break sheets, and associate patient assignments for coverage.
