Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is seeking a Patient Observation Lead to supervise the Observation Associates and assist managers in running the observation and transport program. The role ensures safe, timely, and accurate observation of patients who cannot be left unattended.

Responsibilities include leading daily tasks, coordinating assignments, ensuring coverage, and maintaining compliance with policies while supporting hospital operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform all duties of Patient Observation Associates.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work of Patient Observation Associates.
• Coordinates associate assignments and staffing with client personnel.
• Ensures coverage including float break coverage for offsite accounts.
• Communicates policies and procedures for compliance and standardization.
• Completes shift reports and patient assignments to ensure coverage.
• Cross-trained in Patient Transport and/or other departments as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
