Compass Group USA is hiring for a full-time Patient Observation Lead at Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. The role leads a team of Patient Observation Associates and reports to department managers to ensure safe, timely, and accurate observation of patients who cannot be left unattended.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, coordinating staffing, ensuring policy compliance, and completing shift documentation, with rotating weekends and first shift.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily work of other Patient Observation Associates.
• Communicates with associates, resources staffing, client staff and leadership.
• Coordinates associate assignments, as specified.
• Performs and/or ensures float break coverage, to support associates at offsite accounts.
• Communicates policies and procedures to ensure compliance, standardization, and processes for improvement.
• Completes shift reports, break sheets, and associate patient assignments to ensure coverage and support.
