TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for Patient Observation Assistant roles in Evansville, IN, at Ascension Hospital Evansville. Both full-time and part-time schedules available with rotating shifts and weekends.

Previous related experience preferred and the pay is $15.00 per hour. The role involves monitoring assigned patients under RN direction, completing observation reports, and providing compassionate support while ensuring a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days of hire if required at facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient condition visually and audibly at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Provides compassionate, supportive patient care and interacts with staff, patients and visitors.
• Remains at patient bedside unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
