Crothall Healthcare in the United States seeks an Assistant Director of Patient Observation to support the Director in managing daily operations, supervise supervisors and frontline observers, and foster a culture of accountability and service excellence across shifts.

You will partner with nursing and support departments to align transport and observation services with hospital needs, maintain performance data, and ensure compliant, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Experience managing frontline associates.
• Strong customer service background with relationship skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver high-quality, efficient service and achieve departmental goals.
• Healthcare or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical ability to interpret data and support data-driven decisions.
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic hospital setting.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with professional cross-department interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software applications.

Responsabilités

• Support the Director of Patient Observation in managing day-to-day operations and staff performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline observers.
• Assist in planning and coordinating departmental activities and workflows for efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and support departments to align services with hospital needs.
• Maintain records and performance data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational data to track budgets and productivity.
• Assist in training and orientation on safety, infection control, and patient handling standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency with transport/observation software and communication tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC standards.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and service excellence; support achievement of patient satisfaction and efficiency goals.
