Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks an Assistant Director of Patient Observation to lead daily operations, ensure safe, efficient patient monitoring, and coach frontline teams in a healthcare setting.

You will partner with nursing and support services, manage performance data, oversee budgets, and drive service excellence while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred; some college education or equivalent management experience accepted.
• Experience managing frontline associates preferred.
• Strong customer service background with demonstrated relationship management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the Director of Patient Observation in managing day-to-day departmental operations and staff performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline associates, including patient observers and dispatchers.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating departmental activities and workflows.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and support departments to align services with hospital needs.
• Maintain records and performance data for administrative, quality, and regulatory purposes.
• Assist in training and orientation programs on safety, infection control, and patient handling standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency with transport and observation software systems and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, CDC).
