Job summary

TouchPoint, a Compass Group USA company, seeks an Assistant Director of Operations based at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX to lead Patient Observation Services across three hospital campuses.

You will oversee staffing, regulatory compliance, and service performance, coordinating with hospital leadership, nursing partners, and frontline teams to ensure safe, patient-centered observation services that meet client and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of management experience in a hospital, healthcare, hospitality, or related enviroment.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent stress management, administrative and organizational skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, guests and team members.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for staff.
• Directs safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs; maintain client relationships.
• Assist to ensure client satisfaction and cost-effective management.
• Promotes professional growth and development of associates.
• Coordinate tasks of Supervisory and Management team via regular communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
