Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is recruiting a Nutrition Operator for the National Performance Center in Knoxville. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with rotating weekend duties and both shift options.

The role centers on securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or in-person interactions. The position pays $16.00 per hour with paid training and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Previous call center and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Responsive to patients needs at all times. Resolves patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or reports needed assistance to supervisor as appropriate.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients food needs are met.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and patients rights policy as outlined in the facilitys HIPAA policies and procedures.
