Qualifications

• Previous call center and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
• Resolves patient concerns or complaints promptly and reports needed assistance to supervisor.
• Ensures dietary restrictions and diet orders are met within guidelines.
• Coordinates with nursing to meet patients' diet prescriptions and food needs.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and patients' rights policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for assembling and distributing food supplies.
• Completes daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
