Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a NUTRITION OPERATOR for the UC Health UCMC facility in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time position is immediately available with training provided if needed.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, and duties include securing patient meal selections and meeting dietary requirements. We offer full-time and part-time benefits, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to contribute to patient care and community health.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Follows telephone etiquette with patients and healthcare staff.
• Offers menu alternatives within prescribed diets and allergies.
• Resolves patient concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
• Adheres to dietary restrictions and diet orders for patient meals.
• Coordinates with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and needs are met.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Prepares and distributes meals per corporate policies and deadlines.
• Completes daily, weekly, monthly reports as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
