Job summary

Aramark seeks a Dietary Worker to support patients by phone and via software systems, serving as a liaison to departments for meal services. Responsibilities include handling calls, recording orders, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate nutrition.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
• Experience in food service or dietary clerk preferred.
• Must communicate fluently in English; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfort with using technology including web-based software and headset; 35–45 wpm.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Function in a fast-paced, performance-based call center where calls are recorded and assessed.
• Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service toward customers, clients and co-workers.
• Adaptable to customer needs.
• Answer phones, take menu orders, and direct calls related to meals or nutritional needs.
• Use software to record patient orders.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal orders.
• Work with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition.
• Keep privacy and safety by following confidentiality and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to ARAMARK standards and conduct policies; maintain records and reports as required.
