Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health education, nursing, public health, communications, or related field.
• Two years of experience coordinating programs, projects, or educational resources in a healthcare or related setting.
• Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects, manage deadlines, and work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex information into clear, patient-friendly language.
• Working knowledge of health literacy principles and accessible communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, review, and maintenance of patient education materials and programs with clinical subject matter experts.
• Maintain an organized inventory of patient education resources with review dates, content owners, and approved versions.
• Support teams in using consistent processes and standards for patient education across care settings.
• Review materials for plain language and accessibility; coordinate translation and interpretation needs.
• Gather feedback from patients, families, and staff to identify improvements in resources and delivery.
• Track program activity and measures; prepare reports and share findings with leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, timelines, communications, and training related to patient education initiatives.
• Partner with clinical, quality, digital, and operational teams to make resources available through appropriate channels.
• Perform other duties related to patient education programs as required.
