Qualifications

• State of Illinois professional licensure (based on specialty).
• CPR recognition (healthcare provider level).
• Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare related field, with focus on adult/clinical education.
• Five years professional clinical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, implementation and maintenance of patient education resources.
• Collaborate with clinicians and consumers across care settings to improve education opportunities.
• Review vendor materials and classes for compliance with standards.
• Provide education consultation using clinical knowledge across the continuum of care.
• Develop and present education materials for staff and external groups.

Education

Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare related field
