Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient education programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health education, nursing, public health, communications, or related field.
• 2 years coordinating programs or educational resources in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate complex info for patients.
• Knowledge of health literacy and accessible communication principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and learning content-management systems.
• Interpersonal skills; work with teams or independently.
• Detail-oriented with budgeting/financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, review, and maintenance of patient education materials with subject matter experts.
• Maintain inventory of education resources with review dates, owners, and versions.
• Ensure consistency of education processes across care settings.
• Review materials for plain language and accessibility; arrange translations/interpreting as needed.
• Gather feedback from patients, families, and staff to improve resources.
• Track activity and prepare reports; share findings with managers and teams.
• Coordinate meetings, timelines, communications, and training for patient education.
• Partner with clinical, quality, digital, and operations teams to make resources available.
• Perform other duties related to patient education programs as required.

Education
