Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Patient Navigator RN in Spokane, WA. This full-time, on-site role blends direct patient monitoring with IVF navigation and education to provide a seamless patient journey.

You will monitor treatment responses, perform ultrasound scans, educate patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with multiple teams to align individualized treatment plans, while maintaining EMR documentation and offering ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Washington.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, ideally in women's health, fertility, OB/GYN, or related clinical setting.
• IVF or reproductive endocrinology experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and patient coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to fertility treatments, including lab results.
• Perform ultrasound scans as part of monitoring; training may be provided.
• Provide triage support and clinical guidance within the RN scope.
• Serve as the navigator throughout each patient’s treatment cycle.
• Educate patients on protocols, medications, procedures, and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, lab work, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with financial counselors, embryology, and genetics teams on plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and track patient progress.
• Provide emotional support and address patient concerns.
• Be a consistent point of contact for patients during care.
• Assist with in-office procedures and support during egg retrievals.
• Prepare, maintain, and assist in the OR to ensure sterile technique.
• Participate in team case reviews, meetings, and quality initiatives.
• Take part in after-hours on-call rotation with additional compensation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Patient Navigator RN position is an exciting opportunity for compassionate, service-minded Registered Nurses who want to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. As an integral member of our care team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their fertility journey—providing both clinical monitoring and care coordination. This role blends direct patient monitoring with IVF navigation and education, ensuring a seamless, supportive, and clinically informed experience for every patient.

We are seeking a Patient Navigator RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington in Spokane, WA. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to fertility treatments, including medication reactions and lab results.
• Perform a variety of ultrasound scans as part of patient monitoring and fertility treatment protocols; experience with or willingness to train in scanning is required.
• Provide triage support and clinical guidance within the RN scope of practice.
• Serve as the dedicated navigator throughout each patient’s treatment cycle.
• Educate patients on protocols, medication administration, procedures, and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, lab work, procedures, and follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with financial counselors, embryology, and genetics teams to align on individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Track patient progress, follow up on missed appointments, and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Provide emotional support, address patient concerns, and help remove barriers to care.
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for patients throughout their care journey.
• May assist with in-office procedures and provide critical support during egg retrievals and other outpatient procedures.
• May prepare, maintain, and assist within the Operating Room (OR), ensuring sterile technique, proper equipment setup, and smooth clinical flow.
• Participate in team case reviews, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, with additional compensation provided (details shared during interviews).
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington is required.
  • BSN preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience, ideally in women's health, fertility, OB/GYN, or a related clinical setting.
  • IVF or reproductive endocrinology experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and patient coordination processes.
• Clinical judgment and ability to elevate concerns promptly.
• Empathetic communicator and educator with a patient-first mindset.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
