Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Winchester, VA. This role guides patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provides education, coordinates appointments, and performs venipuncture while working with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing and phlebotomy procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling, education, and specimen collection across partner sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide compassionate patient support and clear communications with clinicians.
