Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator – Hereditary Cancer Testing in St. Petersburg, FL or Pinellas Park, FL. The role supports patients through education, scheduling, and care coordination in a fast-growing healthcare tech company.

You’ll perform phlebotomy as needed, maintain records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a compassionate patient journey. In-person, Mon-Fri, $25-29/hr with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years as a Medical Assistant on a clinical team.
• Two years’ experience with insurance verification and authorization processes.
• Nationally certified phlebotomist with venipuncture competency.
• BLS certification and ability to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Educate and support high-risk patients undergoing hereditary cancer testing.
• Register patients and coordinate follow-up scheduling and services.
• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately, guiding next steps.
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection (5–10% of role).
• Label specimens, document accurately, and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and support operations.
