HALO Precision Diagnostics in Zephyrhills, FL, seeks a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer testing, coordinate care, and collect specimens. This in-person role supports the clinical team and ensures a compassionate, accurate patient experience.

Responsibilities include patient education, scheduling, phlebotomy, and documentation in EMR/EHR, plus assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Competenze

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with clinical experience in patient interaction.
• Minimum of 2 years in front- or back-office clinical settings.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer testing from education to specimen collection.
• Coordinate scheduling, consultations, and follow-up with partners and clinics.
• Perform phlebotomy and ensure proper specimen handling and labeling.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR/EHR.
• Provide empathetic patient support and resolve barriers to testing.
