HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Sarasota, FL to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes venipuncture, specimen handling, scheduling, insurance verification support, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. This full-time, in-person position offers competitive compensation, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide education on testing procedures and next steps.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Coordinate with clinicians and partner sites to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
